The studio that defined the sound of generations; Design Technik restored Studio A to a once again desirable space to create and capture music. Faced with numerous challenges i.e., seemingly unachievable timelines, a registered historical structure restricting what could be done, the pressure of working on such an iconic space, and Paul McCartney was already booked!

The job was no simple task. Despite the challenges and with the final blessing of Al Schmitt, “Sounds pretty damn good, guys!”, success was achieved.

Capitol Studios A is a registered historic landmark, Design Technik designed and developed a fully customized acoustic interior renovation from the ground up.
