First Baptist Concord

Located in Knoxville, TN, First Baptist Concord is a 2100 seat sanctuary.

The architectural finishes combined with the size of the space made for a cavernous sounding room. The sanctuary lacked speech intelligibility and there was no clarity in the worship music.

Design Technik provided a designed and manufactured solution. Phase 1 treated the upstage wall and ceiling with Design Technik’s proprietary acoustic wall system. After completed phase 1, Pastor Mark asked, “Can we make the rest of the room sound like the stage?” Phase 2 will be completed summer of 2023.
